Covid - 19

We have come to a time when the world we knew in the beginning of the year 2020 has changed and is changing.

We have come to a time when the laws being introduced and or enforced by governments, local regional and international to meet this emergency are not necessarily temporary but may very well continue to exist.

We have come to a time when you can look at world news and get a clear picture of local circumstances (if you know what I mean).

We have come to a time when the world is speaking with one voice, note the term Social Distancing

We have come to a time when we should settle in our minds that life as we knew it will not be normal after this.

Folks,

Fear is a key weapon of the arch enemy, God knows that, and that is why He already told us that He (God) has NOT given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and a sound mind. 2 Tim 1:17.

This COVID-19 panic or pandemic (whichever you choose to use) can be seen as a grand opportunity for the servant of God to lay the axe by the root (as was said of John the Baptist) in claiming and proclaiming the relevant truth for this time. The relevant truth for Noah’s time was that a flood is coming get into the ark. The relevant truth for our time, This Present time Is Jesus is coming repent and be ready

The prohibitions issued by state officials all over the earth cannot prevent the Word of God from going where it needs to grow.

We must never be led to believe for one moment that because we cannot congregate, that the work of soul winning, and of sanctification has ceased

There is a divine experience every child of God must have in this time.

Where is God? Some may ask

Haven’t we been warned? Some may exclaim

The key Questions are

what manner of person I am going to be when or should this crisis end

where would I be in my relationship with God and my fellow men when or should this crisis end

who am I reaching out to before this crisis should end

why should I take this experience seriously before it should end

when this experience should have ended, is it going to be business as usual

Folks,

God has given power through the Holy Spirit to meet every crisis that shall arise and we haven’t seen or experience anything yet.

Let us remember Matthew 5:13-16 In the Words of Jesus Himself where he referred to the people of God as both light and salt.

We have come to the time when the people must shed the Light of Truth, The Glory of God to this dark world.

We have come to the time when the professed people of God like salt must flavour this tasteless world with the Bread of heaven.

May God continue to strengthen and keep us as we watch Him Move
